To order a fursuit from OpossumBites, you must be 18 years or older. OpossumBites only ships in the United States and Canada. OpossumBites lives with cats and dogs, so consider allergies when ordering commissions. Please understand that OpossumBites is a beginner, not a professional maker. This is a hobby, so please accept delays due to my personal life or full-time job. Opossumbites typically only has two days/week for fursuits.
Payment, Refund, and Cancelation OpossumBites uses Paypal invoices for all transactions. Payment in full is preferred but payment plans can be agreed upon. The client has two weeks to pay invoices before a 20$ late fee is applied, which increases in 5$ increments every week after. OpossumBites will not begin work until payment is complete. Commissioning is an agreement between OpossumBites (to complete the work) and the Client (to pay for the product) that must be completed. Sales are final and full refunds cannot be given after work begins on the commission. Upon receiving the product, the client is free to resell. If cancelation is unavoidable, a partial refund may be possible. 20% of the cost is nonrefundable and the amount of work put into the suit will affect the possible refund. OpossumBites reserves the right to cancelation due to failure to pay, harassment, or crude behavior. Shipping OpossumBites will only ship to the United States and Canada. The client is responsible for all shipping costs during the commission process. This includes mailing duct tape dummies or shoes required for the commission to OpossumBites, shipping the final product, as well as any other situations that arise during the commission process. International orders (Canada) can expect additional import fees and duties. OpossumBites is not responsible for any lost packages. Part of the shipping costs for the final product include insurance through the shipping company to the value of the commission and tracking numbers will be available. No shipping or contact information will be stored or misused. Deadlines and Updates OpossumBites works until completion, not to deadlines. Making fursuits is a hobby for OpossumBites, not a full-time job or even a major source of income. While OpossumBites strives to create the best product in a timely manner, she cannot prioritize working on commissions over her job or education. Therefore, please order commissions without expectations to have a finished product by an exact date or event. Expect the process to take at least six months, but allow OpossumBites to finish the commission without rushing. Updates will be posted to your project's specific google doc and communications will be through your preferred method of contact. Please check your google doc before asking for updates. As a general rule, no news is no news. Repairs OpossumBites can help repair damage to suit, possibly for free. If damage is minor, OpossumBites can offer advise and tutorials so the client can fix the problem on their own. More extreme damage can be sent back to OpossumBites (the client will need to cover shipping both ways). Cost of repairs would be dependent on the situation. If the required repair is an adjustment (issues with new suit) opossumbites will make this adjustment for free if the client can pay return shipping one way. Opossumbites will pay to ship the adjusted product back. Health and Safety Opossumbites works from home and lives with cats and dogs, please consider allergies before ordering, Be aware that fursuiting can be strenuous on the body.
